To commemorate the 100th anniversary of women winning the right to vote, Mass Mutual wanted to celebrate the moment in a truly Live Mutual way - rejoicing in our interdependence and our reliance on one another - while acknowledging that, together, there is more to be done.
Johannes Leonardo created the concept We March On, where they partnered with
three artists - Stephanie Munoz, Cymone Wilder and myself—to create a mosaic of activist posters that reflect the last 100 years of progress. Borrowing from turn of the century typography and sentiments, we paid homage to the millions of voices and thousands of marches that came before us. Finally, to show that the work isn’t finished and underscore the Live Mutual sentiment, the body copy declares, “progress is never done, and never done alone.”
